Biology
They are 3-10 cm long, 2-8 mm wide, flat, ringed creatures with 17 pairs of antennae around them. Large species are poisonous. During the day, they hide in damp, dim, and dark places in houses, under stones, and in holes. They roam at night, feed on insects and worms, and do not attack humans.
Control Methods
Huts and houses where they breed are vacated, the interior and exterior areas and breeding grounds are treated with residual insecticides.
