Biology
It is a flat, oval parasite about 3 mm in reddish brown color. They grow by sucking blood. Ticks stick to and suck blood from animals and humans other than dogs. Outside, ticks are found in grass, bushes, and animal shelters, where they attach themselves to passing animals. They come into houses through animals. If a female lays eggs in a crack or crevice inside the house, hundreds of ticks can form within a week.
Control Methods
Controlling ticks indoors and outdoors is troublesome. The fight may need to be repeated. This requires a professional service.
